More people, less space – How to plan for densification in our big cities
Date and time
Location
The Royal Danish Embassy
55 Sloane Street London SW1X 9SR United KingdomDescription
In order for London and Copenhagen to meet its housing needs, density must increase both in the city centre and in the suburbs. Increased density can help a city work more efficiently and make it more sustainable, but there is also a risk that it can put pressure on quality of living in terms of daylight, privacy and outdoor space. This requires careful planning and design. The question is how to densify? That’s the issue on the agenda in this seminar.
